Ahahah I am so whacked after watching the Sydney New Year's Eve fireworks with ~Clianthe and ~blair25 among others. Eight hours of card games and hilarity and randomness haha. 'Twas fun

And so I finally got home at what 2:30AM today and I got out of bed at around noon? Haha.

*digs out last year's journal about new year*

Let's see what my (ZOMG) resolutions for 2009 were and how well I um succeeded...

1. Write a novel
LOL FAIL.

2. Ace all of my exams.
I don't think I took into account the fact that I just don't concentrate in maths class and that once I submitted my subject selections for this year (which don't include maths) I just completely did not put any effort into maths at all... at least, not any effort that prevented me from getting a horrible mark for my yearly haha. Apart from maths, exams were okay.

3. Continue producing art that is hopefully good.
Ahahah... what a dodgy resolution. I did improve a lot, haha. YAY.

4. Be happy and carefree and all that
Sort of succeeded. Not really but sort of? LOL.

5. Ace the school certificate
LOL THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED if I hadn't done something really really really stupid and automatically lost like 20 marks in the maths section because I SKIPPED PAGES (by accident). So apart from that monumental fail, yeah I did get pretty good in the SC, band six yay.

6. Actually study properly, keeping my workbooks and stuff legible and at least halfway neat and concentrate for at least most of my classes.
Lol I drew so much during class. I didn't really study properly for everything... I don't think my workbooks are neat... they're okay though. Bleh. Vaguely accomplished. Vaguely.

7. Get straight As in at least one report
Ahahah turns out this year we get MARKS out of 100 not grades so BLEH. Would've failed for Maths I think seeing as I got like 73 and 69 hahahah.

8. Aim to get a presentation day award.
I think I did aim to do this, but... well not well enough haha. BECAUSE I DIDN'T LOL.

(I must sound so drugged up with all the LOLOLOLing)

So I kind of half followed this. Psht.

Oh well there's always... THIS YEAR!

Let's see. Resolutions:

1. To get good marks in school. I want to top at least one subject, and I want to get at least one award for presentation day. OOOH HOW AMBITIOUS THE LITTLE ONE IS. But yeah. Oh, and I had better pwn the trials goddamnit I WILL DO THAT D<

2. To get better at art, draw continuously, etc. etc. Yeah yeah.

3. Write a novel. LOL. I've been saying this for the past three years or so haha.

4. Be happy. Stop thinking too much about random things that aren't worth thinking so much about. ETCETERA.

5. I really really need to GET A JOB LOLOLOL.

Yeah that's about it. The main ones that I can be bothered to write up on dA anyway

2009 was the year I got a graphics tablet, the year I cultivated a Tokio Hotel obsession (and now half the music I listen to is in German AHAHAHA though not JUST TH), the year that was in some ways just so much more awesome. Yay.

2010 is the year when I'm a real high school senior and I... really have to study properly AHAHAHACRAP. Uh. Let's see. 3U English, Visual Art, Visual Design, Modern History, Biology and German. I should be able to do it. I WILL DO IT GODDAMNIT. Oh and besides that, I'll keep writing and keep drawing.
