Rain: Mai, give me something to draw. Mai: ...a person standing at night with fireflies around them. Rain: ...OMG. THAT'S SO COOL. THANKYOUUUU! I'll do a digital painting of it though because I can't really do glowy things with pencil. Mai: You have to send it to me when you're done though. Rain: Yeah, sure. Mai: Yeah, 'cause I saw a photo of that somewhere except I forgot where it was and couldn't find it again... Rain: Ah... Mai: ... Rain: ... Mai: ... Rain: ...THAT'S SO COOL. *** Yes, that is a more-or-less accurate transcript of how this painting came into being. XD Not sure how to categorise it though D: Photoshop and a tablet. Didn't take that long. No references, except for the moon from *BlueHunter's tutorial here. Yes, I'm lazy and made the person sorta silhouetted so I didn't have to do any details XDD |
